A local villager is selling 'Makhanda' a type of fruit found in Deepor beel a very large water body at Azara,Guwahati. Presently Deepor beel can be a big economic support to local villagers if it can be used for tourist. In season various migratory birds visit this place. This Beel is quite rich in fish and other wild founa. Even wild elephants are also seen.
