Steamed fish in Banana leaf. Add, green coriander leaf, pepper powder, salt, green chilly, onion and lemon to taste. This is a simple dish in all Asomia house hold.

Devotion

The altar for sacrifice. This is 'Maai thaan' as locally known. It's chief deity is 'Maa Durga' or 'Shakti'. This temple is located in 'Kolibaari' Tezpur, Asom.An ancient temple now renovated. Ancient history state that human sacrifice was done at this temple. How ever presently animal (Goat) sacrifice is given.

Bohag : Village activity

Villagers were watching 'Go as you like it' competition orginised as part of on going Bohag bihu (Spring) festival at community 'Namghar' field.

Kalaguru Bishnu Prasad Rabha

The final resting place of 'Asom's' one of the illustrious son 'Kalaguru Bishnu Prasad Rabha'.Born in 31 Jan 1909 at Dhaka and died in 20 Jun 1969 at Tezpur. He was a cultural icon. He was musician,dancer,poet,writer,dramatist and a great freedom fighter with leftist leaning for Indian independence. He preached for upliftment of poor and economically backward peaople. He is till today revered by 'Asom' as 'Kalaguru'i.e.'Teacher of All Art Form'
