Chitra-Sila' the abode of '
Mr. Mohini Hazarika' a renowned self made
sculptor & artist in village- Da-Porbotia,
Tezpur, Assam. The man of around 60 years still look young, active & full of life. He has been conferred with title "
Seuj Bhaskar" by a literary body 'Uttar Paschim, Tezpur Sahitya Sabha'.
Even the legend of Assam Late
Dr. Bhupen Hazarika had appreciated his work. He has started his Sculpture art since 1976 with out any formal teaching or guide. A natural born artist.

Late Jyoti Prasad Agarwala the great Asomia cultural icon & is still popularly known as 'Rup Konwar'. The father of Asomia Cinema 'Joymoti' in 1935. Every year his death anniversary which falls on 17 January is observed as 'Silpi Divas' in Assam & by Asomia society world over.
Late Lakshminath Bezbarua a great Asomia personality & pioneer of modern Asomia literature.
