The
ashes of
Bhupenda, as late
Dr.Bhupen Hazarika was
lovingly called by people of Assam, is being brought in an
Urn to Tezpur for immersion, in the river
Brahmaputra. With rest of Assam, we the people of
Tezpur has become
emotional and people
rushed to pay their homage to the departed soul, with a
resolve to follow & keep his work of
humanity and brotherhood amongst all living being. His greatness, is in, whatever he
composed and
sung had
messages of suffering of people and
uplifting of
downtrodden. So all songs or poems he wrote
touches the heart of common men. Though
your physical being is no more, but
you remains in our inner hearts and will always be remembered.
