Celebration of
MahaShivratri on 20 Feb 12 in
Assam, is being
observed in every part.
The first photo shows the Puja being offered in a

Village.
The second, Puja being offered to lord
Shiva in a
road side Peepal tree, the
abode of lord Shiva as
believed by Hindus.
And in third photo, the celebration of
Shivaratri is seen in a
temple.
