Official match ball was developed by a Chinese company in Shenzhen, with its testingtaking place worldwide by several football clubs and associations ahead of its launch for the2014 FIFA World Cup.

China's Yingli Green Energy Holding Co has become one of the eight sponsors - and theonly Chinese company - of the world's most widely watched sporting event. Yingli hasprovided 27 sets of solar panels to power all stadium lighting masts in the host cities of theWorld Cup. It has also installed solar power stations in the media centers.
