Respecting & putting mothers in high esteem in
Indian culture is
weaven since time
immemorial. In almost all
epics like Mahabharata, Ramayana, Puranas & other mythological or historical episodes
Mother's were given &
revered on the
top slot. During day to day life in
India we give first priority to revered our mother for their
love & sacrifices for bringing up their household through her
control & command. With passing of time & IT connectivity Mother's day is
catching present Indian society to
bolster Mother's to even
higher echelon by gifting & showing affection & love by their sibling materialistically in
Indian context.

My mother then a girl student of class 8th photo taken somewhere in 1956. I miss her a lot she passed away in 1991.
My mother-in law an inspiration to her grandchildren.
My better half now mother to our children, experiencing how hard our mother's faced to bring up their children.
