GUWAHATI, Nov 7 - The Assam Academy of Mathethe matics is going to celebrate Ramanujan Day with a two-day programme at the Gauhati University campus on December 21 and 22.
On December 21, there will be a tribute-paying programme with a prize-distribution ceremony for Mathletics and Mathematics Olympiad held earlier.
On the Ramanujan Day on December 21, a national seminar will be held on the theme ‘Advances in Mathematical Sciences.’ The proceedings of this seminar will be published in AIP Conference Proceedings Series, which are indexed in Thomson Reuters Web of Science, Scopus, Inspec, etc.
Dr Kuldeep Kumar, PhD Professor, Bond University, Australia, Inder K Rana, Emeritus Fellow, Department of Mathematics, IIT, Bombay, and Dr Tarun Das, Professor, Department of Mathematics and Registrar, University of Delhi have consented to attend the seminar.
The announcement of the seminar can also be found in the American Mathematical Society, American Statistical Association and Conference Alert Worldwide.
