Buffalo fight, a tradition since the time of
Ahom royals, who enjoyed this
sports during
celebration of
Magh Bihu or Bhogali Bihu / Makar Sankranti is on
revival path. This sports Buffalo Fight is seen today at
Milanpur village near
Tezpur city in Assam, being
organised by the
villagers on the
occasion of Magh Bihu.
